Usually when I iron the shirt it becomes wrinkled during the day
sad news because the shirts looks great
I'll be happy to tell you, but 100 percent cotton is going to wrinkle no matter how it's ironed. Set the iron on "cotton", and start with a slightly damp shirt, or use the steam setting. Iron the collar, then the sleeves, the yoke, and the front back last. If you want a fresher look that lasts longer, I'm afraid you'll need to buy shirts with at least some synthetic fiber, usually polyester. Hope this helps...

my 100% cotton shirt's label has an iron symbole with a slash in it (im assuming this means i shouldn't iron the shirt), but it says next to it, that i can iron the shirt if it does not have a graphic (which it doesn't)...how will coniually ironing my shirt ruin it (will it shrink, loose its color, etc) thanks

I cant seem to iron it straight...any tips?
Iron the shirts when they're still a bit damp from washing. (Once creases have dried in they'll be harder to iron out.) Then hang them on padded clothes hangers (not wire ones) to give it the right shape. Iron your clothes the day before you wear them - if you wear them straight away they'll crease easier. I'm sure there are some good how-tos on the net about how to iron a shirt. google it.

Basically i've never ironed anything before and my cotton black band t-shirts are looking sloppy. I'd like to fix this well, by ironing them. They do have logo/labels on the front. And if i can remember it's not good ironing over them? how do i do it? Can you provide me with shirt/brief/descriptive instructions. Thanks :)
If you place another piece of cloth over it, preferably a thin one, you can iron right over it and the shirt in the bottom with the logo will also be ironed and neat.
Use spray starch... it will help. It's found in the laundry aisle in an aerosol can.

Rowenta DG5030 Pressure Iron and Steamer | Clothes Steamer
I replaced my old Rowenta (blue tank) with the new model and found that less satisfactory because excessive water from staining the tissues at any temperature combination steam / parameters and that the water level in the tank are not visible; instruction booklet states that the water levels could affect the issues of locating, but if the water level are not visible, it is questionable. I contacted Rowenta who informed me they were “aware” of problems and identification of water tank and my comments are “taken good note.” Considering the cost of iron and Rowenta’s reputation for quality products, I think that potential customers should be aware of these problems...
