Hot Cotton T-shirt

I need to get this new large slim fit cotton t-shirt to a medium, I bought it as a large and totally overestimated my self lol, uhm I can't return it (lost receipt and all), and I haven't washed it yet, SO If I was it on hot and dry it on hot will it come out to a medium?

If it is 100% cotton you have avery good chance of shrinking it. If it has been preshrunk or is a spandex blend not so much.
You have nothing to lose at this point, unless you can get store credit(?)

i tried hot water in the washer and hot drier but it did not shrink enough ...

if that didnt work it probably aint gonna shrink. id just go buy a smaller shirt

I've got a 100% cotton pre-shrunk t-shirt with some writing on the front. But it's a bit too big. Can I shrink it by putting it in a hot wash (and if so, how hot)? Or will this have little effect (considering it's pre-shrunk)? Would that be likely to damage the lettering on the front?

Wash it on the highest temp, then dry it on the highest temp. You should see a difference, but be careful, because sometimes with the "pre-shrunk" shirts they become shorter, but still very wide! Good Luck!

I have this TWLOHA T-shirt that I bought from Hot Topic, but by accident I got an XL when I wear a L, I've already washed it, but have not yet dry it (air dried). How would I shrink it enough to wear it doesn't look really loosE?

use extremely hot water and then dry it on hot

I bought a 100% cotton tshirt with printing on the front.
It is still alittle big for me, and i would like to shrink it
I have not washed it yet, as iv heard the first wash is important

So far, iv gathered that you Boil it in hot water for 2 mins, hot wash, then hot dryer

Also, is there any risk of uneven shrinking?... ie one part shrunk more than other parts?

If it's 100% cotton it will shrink pretty evenly. Depending on the direction of the stitching it will sometimes shrink more in lenght than in width. Wash it normally, do not boil it as the print on it might either run or peel depending on what the print is made of. It's the dryer you have to use to shrink. Dry the T-Shirt on the hottest cycle your dryer has. It should shrink!
