High Cotton T-shirt

The last batch I got were from Nordstroms. All cotton, small tapered seams on the crew collar and short sleeves. The high quality cotton is shiney. There is no synthetic material in it. It's something along the lines of what Steve Jobs would wear on stage.

When I do an on-line search of high quality t-shirts, I find anything but high quality. Gothic prints, pockets, a bunch of garbage, frankly. Where can I find good, almost silky pure cotton t-shirts?

I've never gotten a tee from James Perse, but I've seen a few at Nordstrom, and they seem very nice in quality.

It's cotton by the way.
If not, what are some other methods to shrink it without changing the appearance? I really want to emphasize the "without changing the appearance" part.
How about tailoring? I know they do for shirts but how about t-shirts?

tailoring t-shirts is easy. you can do it yourself if you have a sewing machine or you can take it to a tailoring shop. I don't think you can shrink it very much with high temperatures. Most cotton clothes are pre-shrunk.

All the sites say wash and dry at high temp. Ok but my washer can do extremely high wash but only cold rinse does that really matter if it is washed at really high temp. but is rinsed with cold water?

Rinsing it in cold shouldn't make that much of a difference if you are washing it on hot. Just dry it on high heat as well. Keep in mind that hot water and high heat may fade out the color.

If you go to a high-end store such as, say, express or banana republic, you will find cotton graphic t-shirts which are not screen printed, but actually dyed. The cotton fabric is actually different colors. What is the method they use to print these tees?

I made my own all-over pattern design and I want to get it on a roll of cloth... preferably high quality t-shirt cotton.

What stores do this?

you can do it yourself if you know how to screen print.
