Ew, yellow pit stain on t-shirt?
3-quarter pants.

I have this green 100% cotton t-shirt that I love very much.
A couple days ago I ran out of deodorant so put on a little bit of the old one + a little bit of new deodorant. (stupid, I know, ugh.)
And then when I took it off, there was this yellowish stain on the armpits. I know it's from the two deodorants because it's never happened before when I only use one deodorant.

So my question is, does anyone know how to get rid of it (what soaps/detergents/etc.)?
If nothing works I could try dyeing it too, haha.

Thanks in advance. :)

If you have baking soda try soaking it for 30 half and see if this get rid of yellow pit stain

Plz tell me is this right that it is 100% cotton shirt or 99% because i don't think that it is 100% cotton shirts available in colors.
I want to buy this t-shirt for earth day in green color.

100% preshrunk cotton; seamless rib at neck; taped neck and shoulders; double-needle stitching on sleeves and bottom hem; ash is 99% cotton, 1% polyester; sport grey is 90% cotton, 10% polyester

this says only the white is 100 percent cotton, the ash color is 99%cotton and 1% synthetic, the sport grey color is 90% cotton and 10% synthetic fiber.

Richard..... I am simply pointing out the obvious fact that the so-called "Green" movement is all about the $$$$ money..... nothing else..... there is no noble cause to save the planet.

I'm all for free enterprise..... but I take a dim view of charlatans.

Just a sampling of the stuff being peddled:

Electric can openers
Electric pencil sharpeners
Electric swiffer mops (battery powered)
Hummers

I can go on. I may detest the concept of the products, but I won't get in the way of the free market. What's your problem, do you hate free enterprise? People will buy anything. Get over it.

BB - I appologize for my rudeness. I would agree that when there is an issue that confgronts mankind, someone will be there to take advantage of the situation. I would also agree that the products you mentioned are for the fringe of society (except the cotton t-shirt, wouldn't pay $38 for one, though), but to each their own. I guess my point is that there are extremes either way that make neither side look rational. That's why I TRY to stay somewhere in the center.

cyanotypes on cotton, fade when washed, any ideas on how to stop this?

am printing cyanotypes (made from (1) Potassium ferricyanide and (2) Ferric ammonium citrate (green). on 100% cotton, but clothes need to be washed and the cyanotypes fade considerably, even hand washing with no soap.
I was wondering if there is a mordant I can use on my cotton to make it more readily absorb the cyanotype and less prone to wasing out and fading. Or anything that can be applied before or after printing that wont interfere with the chemistry of the cyanotype but will frevent it from fading.
would really appreciate any help
Ive looked online but all i can find are 100yr old dyeing recipes that I cant make head nor tail of. if you give me an answer that gives me something cheap easy and readily available that works well ill happily send you one of my t-shirts.

Sorry for asking such a silly question, but why? With sublimation technology as it is today, it would bo possible to get a much better print on cloth that would be completely whashable.

Airbrush paint problem. Any advice?

I just started airbrushing shirts. Im trying to airbrush a black 100% cotton t shirt. However, when im applying the paint, like say im starting with a white outline, a white base and putting green on top. I cant seem to get a solid white line. The black from the shirt keeps seeping through. Also, when I apply the green on top it just blows the white away or smears it revealing the black again. Im using Createx paint and I don't thin it much plus all my brushes are spraying fine. I have seen videos of people airbrushing black shirts and getting these bright white lines almost like there putting white out on it and getting these bright colors that completely cover up with out black seeping through. My question is, what am I doing wrong?

There are a lot of different Createx colors, do you have the ones that are opaque. I would check out their web site and see if you are using the right ones, also I would try to cure the white with heat and than add other colors on top. Here is their website.
