Green Cotton Shirt

i have a blood stain from new years (drunk friend punched a mailbox) can any of you all help me get out the stain please without bleaching and discoloring the actual shirt, by turning the area where the blood is back to the green of the shirt?

Step 1

Ideally, it's best to treat stain when blood is still wet. However, even if the blood stain is dry, simply pour a small amount of Clorox 2® Free Stain Fighter & Color Booster directly on the stain. You can gently "scrub" stain. You'll IMMEDIATELY see it begin to work. It starts to "bubble," much like peroxide. Don't rinse or wash it yet...

Step 2

Let it sit on the stain for at least 30 minutes. Then just toss into the washer and launder! This will work on just about any stain, but it's particulary effective on blood stains.

Step 3

Voila! The stain will be gone. If for some reason you can still see evidence of the stain, treat again and let work on the stain a little longer. Enjoy your stain free clothes! (This works really well on sheets)

I have heard of both nail polish remover and hair spray.
I believe that acetone is the base chemical for those two products and is found in paint and hardware stores.
Years ago my daughter got a pen in with her cotton work smocks and I believe we washed everything with soap and one of the COLOR Catching sheets, and NO dryer for a few more washes until everything had faded away.

I have a puke stain on one of my cotton t-shirts. I've tried washing it, but it didn't come out. You can still see it in brighter light. If I bleach it would the stain come out? I'd be fine if it made the shirt a lighter shade of green. How much bleach should I use? How long should I soak the shirt?

How can I remove the colour of some other cloath from my Light coloured cotton Shirt....
Red colour of my shorts has spoiled my light green and white colour cotton shirt. Can you tell me how can I remove these stains without spoiling my shirt's original colour.

Stop reds from running

Unless you have a fondness for pink-tinted clothing, take one simple precaution to prevent red -- or other brightly dyed -- washable clothes from ruining your wash loads. Soak your new garments in a few cups of undiluted white vinegar for 10-15 minutes before their first washing. You'll never have to worry about running colors again!


Brighten your loads

Why waste money on that costly all-color bleach when you can get the same results using vinegar? Just add 1/2 cup white vinegar to your machine's wash cycle to brighten up the colors in each load.

Unset old stains

Older, set-in stains will often come out in the wash after being pretreated with a solution of 3 tablespoons white vinegar and 2 tablespoons liquid detergent in 1 quart (1 liter) warm water. Rub the solution into the stain, then blot it dry before washing.

Or Dye

If dye transfers from a non-colorfast item during washing, immediately bleach discolored items. Repeat as necessary BEFORE drying. On whites use color remover. CAUTION: Do not use color remover in washer, or around washer and dryer as it may damage the finish.
