Fine Cotton T-shirt

How can I stretch out a cotton t-shirt?
Mannequin

I bought a baseball t-shirt (because opening day is tomorrow!) and i bought it a size that is a tad too tight. the length is fine but it's just tight.

If I wash it and then stretch it, will that work?
And after that would I have to hang dry it or put it in the dryer?

I've done the same thing too many times!

If it has the buttons up the front, it might get a little harder to stretch.
This sounds crazy, but it works. You dampen it, not soaking wet, just damp. You can then lay it flat to dry and stretch it a little bit every so often until it is dry. The other thing which works and is the crazy option, get someone a bit smaller than you to put it on, sit on the floor, and pull their knees up inside of the shirt. We used to do this all the time in my PE class, many, many years ago.

Last idea is in case the shirt has a button front. If you know how to sew at all, you can sew it closed, on the inside behind the buttons on the facing. You can do this so none of the stitches show, and put the shirt on like a T-shirt. This is handy with pajama tops too, how often do they really get unbuttoned, instead of just pulled off overhead?
Good luck with your new shirt!
It will also stretch a bit each time you wash it, so DON'T put it in the dryer!

Bleach to get out a puke stain from a bright green shirt?
Fine Cotton Stretch

I have a puke stain on one of my cotton t-shirts. I've tried washing it, but it didn't come out. You can still see it in brighter light. If I bleach it would the stain come out? I'd be fine if it made the shirt a lighter shade of green. How much bleach should I use? How long should I soak the shirt?

no bleach use oxyclean

making longer sleeves?
Pheasant

I just got a 100% cotton t-shirt and its fine, but the sleevs are a little too short. What's a good way to stretch them?
Can't i stretch the sleeves like how i would stretch a shirt?

I'd go to a store that specializes in sewing and ask them what to do.

Like others have said, corrosion sets in immediately after you remove a submerged engine from the water — for future reference, leave it underwater until you have time to work on it. If it’s in salt, get it out of there and submerge it in freshwater. Oxidation (fancy word for corrosion) can’t occur in the absence of oxygen, is why it’s best to leave it underwater.

But, she’s your boat and a man’s gotta fish, so you’ve got to give it a try.
