Brown Cotton Shirt

Hi..i would try hand cleaner like the mechanics use. It is cheap and can be bought at Walmart or Canadian tire. Rub it on, let sit for a half hour, then wash as usual. I use it for all kinds of stains and have never seen it damage anything.

I sprayed perfume too close and noticed spots on a brown cotton shirt, how can I remove them??

Here is some information that I found that may be helpful to you...you might not need all the stuff on the list but at least it gives you a few options in case you do....And I think since it is cotton you can just start with step 2 ....

Things You’ll Need:

* Regular household ammonia
* Liquid laundry detergent
* Glycerine
* Clean cloths and sponges
* Carpet or upholstery shampoo (may be needed)
* Specialized laundry stain remover (may be needed)

Treat Perfume Stains in Clothing

Step 1:
Remove perfume stains from non-washable items of clothing by soaking a clean sponge in warm water and blotting the stain. Do not take any further action. Bring the soiled item to a dry cleaner as soon as possible.

Step 2:
Rinse washable items of clothing that you've stained with perfume in lukewarm water.

Step 3:
Launder as usual in your washing machine, according to the requirements given on the garment's care label.

Step 4:
Dab any perfume stains you cannot remove the first time with a small amount of household ammonia. Then, wash the item of clothing again, using liquid laundry detergent.

Step 5:
Head to a department store for a specialized stain remover if the perfume stains remain after ammonia treatment. Apply the specialized product as directed by the label, then run it through the wash again.

I have also heard that using white vinegar on the stain and let it set for a little bit then rub it or gently scrub it with a soft brush then launder it as usual ....

It is a polo. It has blue stripes on it, about 3-4 inches apart. And i do run in it some times, with no deodarent, in the morning.

Let the shirt soak in some hot water that has Dishwasher detergent mixed in with it. Soak for about 1/2 hour. Wash & rinse. Then, hopefully you have a lawn; yes a lawn. Take the shirt and lay it out in the sun on the lawn. Between the clorophyl in the lawn and the sun itself, your shirt should look good as new when dry.

What colour shirt do you think would go with a brown jumper (the ones with no hoods that u wear collered shirts underneath with)

Also, what about the colours navy blue and light blue/torquoise ???
Oh and i mean a navy blue and light blue/torquoise jumper, not shirt, im wondering what shirts would go with those colours also lol

For the brown jumper, light blue, pink, cream, red, a nice burnt orange (nothing too bright!), white, and yes even black (you can wear black and brown together).
For the navy jumper I would stick with white, tan, light blue, cream, pink, orange, and red, but that depends on what you're wearing in for bottoms.
For the light blue /turqoise colored jumper you can do white, black, cream, brown.

It was a brown soft cotton shirt. I sat in a metal patio chair in the sun for 20 mins. When I took my shirt off I saw a pattern that matched the back of the chair. The brown spots matched the holes in the back (not the latice of the chairback) and were on both sides of my back. It doesn't appear to be a rash. The marks are not raised and do not blanch.
Could it have reacted to the Sun? The fabric, I mean.

Do you know how many people each year that attends an ER because their legs etc have turned blue!?

Too many.

They turn out to have brand new blue jeans that haven't been washed!!

So yes it is very possible.
