Black Cotton Shirt

I need to put a few bleach stains on a black shirt i have for a christmas gift i am making for a friend. I tested it out and the spot turned brown, but my goal is to get a white spot in areas that i put the bleach. If i let the beach sit on the shirt will the spot eventually turn white?

depending on the actual dye of the fabric, I have seen black turn some lovely shades in the reddish family.
hgtv.com - carol duvall had it on her show I believe, or simply quilts.
They places the material around a PVC pipe, scrunched it, tied it down with rubber bands, gently poured the bleach along the rubber band area, then it went through a gentle wash and rinse - both final steps were done in a basin/sink

I'm planning on being an iphone for halloween and want to make my own t-shirt. I'm using a black cotton shirt and I want to paint on the apps. Currently, im using Tempera paints but the colour seems to be getting absorbed/not showing up. What kind of paints can i use so the colours actually show up? I don't care if it washes off after a while and i'm NOT looking to spend a lot.

Use small bottles of Acrylic paints they will stand out for you . And will not absorb to much into the material

I have a medium size grease stain on my black polo shirt. I took it to the cleaners and nothing came out what else can i use that is a sure thing???

I dont know if its a sure thing but try putting dishwasher detergetn on it with some water, scrub scrub scrub and then put it to wash. hope it helps!

uujanis has the right idea. Just re-dying the shirt is not going to do it right. The bleached spot will always show lighter. But taking a black marking pen and going over it just might save your favorite shirt. Other than that and depending on where the stain is, you might making other decorations like it. If you use bleach, dilute it first and wash right away or you could end up with holes in the shirt.

I have accidently gotten yellow paint on my good black T-shirt. It has been on there for about 3 months, so I hope that I havn't left it too long to remove it. I have tried using Sards wonder soap, but to no avail.
Can somebody out there please help me?? :(

Try rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover.
