50 Cotton 50 Polyester T-shirt

What does 'heavyweight' mean, anyways? And what's different about a 'heavyweight' t-shirt compared to a regular shirt?

Heavy weight means that the fabric is thicker. Only natural fibers like cotton shrink, unless they are pre shrunk. If you want to avoid shrinkage don't wash in hot water and don't dry it in the dryer.

No I will not tie it, tuck it in, or get it professionally tailored or etc. Can I wash it in any way to shrink it to fit my petite body? Its made of 50% Cotton and 50% Polyester
Its white and it has a small logo on the right and big logo on the back. Will skrinking ruin it?

Sorry. You can't shrink it. The polyester part will not shrink. If it were 100% cotton you could wash it in really hot water and then dry it on hot. So, it won't shrink because it is 50% polyester. It probably even says on the label that it won't shrink for that reason.

What fits better? I'm trying to get this t shirt but I don't want it to fit loose, I like it to be girly tight ! lol I have a choice if I want 100% cotton or 50/50 cotton polyester. Let me know! thanks!

poly-cotton blend- not dyeable, not as absorbent, wrinkles less often and retains its shape longer, can be uncomfortable if you sweat alot. can be comfortable but not as soft as cotton alone

I want to do a DIY bleach artwork... you spray bleach/water over tape on your shirt and then dunk it in water. Basic question is can i put bleach on a 50% cotton 50% polyester t-shirt or does it have to be all cotton?

"Bleach is an effective color remover as long as you confine yourself to natural fibers like cotton, linen, and rayon. If the fabric contains polyester, the color may not discharge, since polyester is usually colorfast. "
