100 Cotton Work Shirt

I need to order some polos for my new job. Which would be better, 100% cotton or 50/50?

Depends. Cotton is more comfortable, but 50/50 will last longer, and is easier to keep Clean.

i have this size large 100% cotton hand wash cold only hang dry shirt. its white and has GOLD foil decoration all over it randomly. i need it to shrink. im scared if i wash it fully in hot water it will damage it. but if i just drop it in hot water, take it out after a minute, then put it in the hot dryer.. will that work the same? and will it damage it? i can turn it inside out too of course.

What does the cleaning instructions say (should be on the collar tag)? I think you could wash it on delicate, then place in the dryer for a few minutes (but not until it's dry or you will ruin it). Take it out of the dryer and let it hang to finish drying.

I was wondering if it would get the shirt soaking wet or just take the smell out. It is the steam fresh by lg. I can use the washer or the dryer.

This tip came from my mom who has a small book with endless uses for vinegar. You might want to do a search on the web to get more ideas. Wash as usual in the washer and then add vinegar (about 1/4 cup)to the final rinse cycle. Some people might even prefer to put it in the wash cycle. Either way, it works. The vinegar smell will not remain. Let air dry or use the dryer and use a fabric softening sheet.

i got my boyfriend a TWLOHA shirt for his birthday, my mom told me to get a medium because he wears a small and since its made out of cotton it will shrink in the washer, but i want it to shrink a whole size, because the medium wil be to big for him.
i heard washing in warm water and drying on warm will work...will it really work?

AND its a light blue shirt but it has letters over the right chest area. would the colors bleed? also is it okay to put just the shirt thru the load?

It's the hot dryer that really works on it. Keep it in a hot dryer with a few towels for a looong time. Also, wash it, dry it, wash it, and dry it again. Good luck. I hope it shrinks enough.
