It's a 100% cotton polo shirt XXL, I didn't really look at the size but I needed a XL.

Cotton shrinks a maximum of 5% in length and 8% in width. It only shrinks when it over dries. In other words, washing in hot water won't do it and just putting it in the dryer won't do it. You need to put it in the dryer and leave it drying an extra 15-20 minutes after normal dry in order to induce shrinkage.

Of course, you could just take it to a good dry cleaner shop and have it altered. But that might cost almost as much as the shirt, depending on the brand.

There are several things that can take care of this.You can purchase one of those Tide Pens,and use that.Or,if you have Dawn Dish Detergant,It has to be dawn.Squirt that all over the stain and let it set for about 30 seconds then throw it in the washer and wash it through that should do it.Also,if you have Tide powder detergant then you can make a paste of that,and place on the stain let it set for about a minute and then palce it in the washer and wash it through.Shout also works.There are many things that can bring stains out reguardless of what is in them.
