My little boy has tried to paint his nails with red nail varnish but spilt it over my white bed sheets. Please help!

I think you better give these sheets as a present to your wee boy now. I am sure he will pute them to a great use, like a ghost costume, indoors tent , a flying rug etc ;-)
But he has to promise not to paint his nails where something might get damaged again .

I have 100% cotton white bed sheets but over time they've started to discolour and go grubby (on the side my ex boyfriend used to sleep). How can I get them all white again? I usually wash them 30 degrees to be environmentally friendly. Should I treat them/soak them in something/put them in a hot wash?
Could you be more specific? :)

Could anyone suggest a product, and give me an idea of what temperature to wash the sheets in? Thanks x

Use bleach and warm to hot water.

I'm not sure how to be more specific; I guess it depends on your washer. Most washers have a bleach compartment that dispenses the bleach (or bleach alternative) at the appropriate point in the cycle. You shouldn't have to soak the sheets overnight. As for temperature, use something at the high end of what your washer offers. Hopefully this helps.

Want to wash my fitted bed sheet. The tag says it is 50% cotton 50% polyester and 'warm wash'. Can i wash it in what my washing machine calls a 30 degree 'daily wash' or the 90 degree 'white cotton wash' or a 60 degree 'white nylon' wash.

Use the medium 60 degree setting, unless the sheets are very soiled. Then use hotter water. 50/50 poly cotton isn't going to shrink any if at all.
If the sheets are a dark color, though, you may want to use a cooler temperature to avoid fading.

i put some Cif Lemon Cream on this chocolate moose stain i got on my white duvet sheets. and so i put cif on it which removed the chocolate moose stain but i was left with a pale pastel yellow stain! any help?! i havent told my mum yet. she will go mad.

I use Spray N Wash, but I think OxiClean detergent and also OxiClean stain remover is the way to go. They also make products like Tide w/ OxiClean. It's supposed to be good stuff.
