I know it's not very cool, but I prefer cotton/polyester bed sheets to all cotton. Only problem--the blends all seem to be inexpensive sheets in boring solid colors or timid floral patterns. Do any of the high end linen manufacturers make sheets in cotton/poly?

I have been happy with Anna's Linens, I hope you have a store in your area, but they do have an on-line store. Stroud's should also have some cotton/poly blend sheet sets.

HELP....I'm tired of buying new comforters for my bed. How can I get this stuff out?

First of all, sweetheart, fold the comforter down before you use the ky.
Secondly, one word: Dawn. Remember this religiously. Dawn doesn't just cut the grease in the sink, baby.
Rub some dawn onto the spot, get a hot wet towel and scrub that spot for a min or so, then either wipe that off with a clean wet towel or just wash it in a machine, and you'll be good to go.

I am on a tight budget and looking for bedding for my queen bed. The last set we bought was a bed-in-bag and poly/cotton blend and it died very quickly (bought at Sears). I'm willing to go with just a comforter and shams to save $ but I'm afraid if I go polyster again it will wear out. Should I go with cotton and spend more in order to get more wear out of it? Does anyone know of a place I can get a set for appx. $50 or less?

Well Im bought a new bed and basically the old sheets i had on the bed dont fit so do i need a bed set or a comforter set im just curious as to what the differences are does one have more things then the other. and should i get poly cotton or 100% cotton

Different manufacturers describe their bedding sets in different ways so always check the contents of the set. You can always buy coordinated items from the same range (with the better quality bedding) to get exactly the items you need - sheets, pillow shams, bed valance, throw, comforter etc

I prefer poly cotton to cotton unless the cotton has an easy iron finish - that's after I bought a pure cotton bedding ensemble a few years ago - it was beautiful embroidered cotton - a pleasure to look at and the devil to iron.
