Where can I find organic baby crib bedding with cute prints?

Many organic bedding sets have no print on them, which is a little too boring for me. I think Coyuchi baby prints are ugly. The Pixel Piece print is cute but it is too bright. I want a soft color. The closest I have found is the Nature's Purest (Hug Me) Collection found in Babies R Us website. http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp ?productId=2671050 Maybe someone can check the link and get an idea of what I want. And if I see a fitted crib sheet with a nice print, they usually don't have a whole crib or nursery set (If at the least, I would like to have the bumber, fitted sheet, and blanket all matching). The Nature's Purest collection is fine, but I'm the type of person that likes to have options, not have to choose by default. I commend the "organic" companies for trying at least, but it's not that hard. I can do with out the pink and blues. Actually I prefer the natural colors cotton makes; soft browns, yellows, and greens. Hopefully someone has an answer. Thanks

if you cant find full sets you like, maybe you could do something like choose a color scheme... I think the soft browns and greens make a great combination... and just have lots of solids that coordinate in your color palette... then just decorate the room with other things to make it more colorful or if you like monkeys or bears...

I have released my injured baby bunny and he keeps coming back. What do I feed him?

So, I live out in Arizona... rural. We have rabbits all around. Cotton tails and Jack rabbits. My female cat brought my kids a baby cotton. She was holding it by the scruff. she injured it's paw. It looked to me to be a couple weeks old. It was small but it's eyes were open. I couldn't find the nest anywhere. I put it in a box with bedding and then took it out at dusk, to see if it would run away. It didn't leave my side. I waited until it's leg was healed about two days later, only giving it goat's milk once a day and water and rabbit pellets. I tried letting it go both dusk and dawn. The bunny keeps coming back. it was gone 24 hrs once and came right back to the front door. It always seems like it's not doing good when it comes back, and when we take it in and feed it and give it water and safety, it purks up and is lively again. If it weren't for my female cat and this bunny's size, I would just let it live in the yard and feed it. Until it is big I will keep it safe

Hmm, sounds tough, we found 5 baby bunnies, in a pile of our horse manure, and the moma came back every day and fed them, they finally left the nest.
But it sounds to me like you either take care of it, let it dye in the wild, or bring it to a shelter, I would choose choice A{I'm a bunny luvver, so what can you expect?}
Okay try soaking dry pellets in warm kitten milk, or powdered milk.
Try to feed him some chopped up banana, carrots, celerary, SMALL ammount of lettuce, to much will give him stomache problems.
and be sure to keep water available, if he seems to get worse, I would take him to a shelter, if you intend on keeping him, bring him to a vet, and get him checked up.
In most cases, Cottontail rabbits that were born wild, don't usually make good pets, but I'm sure theres rare exceptions. This may be one, and you may have made a friend for life. =)

Does alpaca wool and cotton make good yarn?

I wanted to start a small business during my senior year or high school. Winter is coming up and I figured I should maybe start by making stuff such as baby blankets and clothes and/or dog clothes and beds. I want to make at least $700,000 by the time I'm 22 (not just supporting myself on this job) and hoping to start soon. Are these easy to make things with? Does anyone know where I can purchase organic cotton for cheaper? Even better...does anyone know where i can get alpaca fur for cheaper?
Is 50% alpaca 50% silk good? It seems to be cheaper and have deeper colors

Alpaca fur makes wonderful yarn! There is a business call The Alpaca Connection, perhaps you could get in contact with them somehow to learn more about Alpaca fur.

What do you think Deported Criminal Illegal Immigrant Murders Baby?

In the latest example of the government’s failure to protect the nation from criminal illegal aliens, a man responsible for the atrocious murder of a California infant has turned out to be a drug-addicted illegal immigrant deported after a felony conviction.

Somehow the violent criminal, Juan Sanchez, sneaked back into the U.S. and lived under the radar in the southern California community of Rancho Cucamonga about 50 miles from Los Angeles. He recently beat his girlfriend’s 8-month-old son to death after the infant’s nose was “mistakenly” wiped with the methamphetamine-laced cotton swab Sanchez used to clean his pipe.

Fearful that he would be sent to prison, Sanchez forbade his girlfriend from seeking medical care when the baby became sick from the drug exposure. For three days the barbaric convict tried to get the infant “off the high” by shaking him, slapping him and tying him to a bed. When the baby was finally hospitalized, he had a skull fracture, bleeding in the brain, detached retinas and a broken arm.

The mother and Sanchez have been charged with the infant’s horrific murder. A sad component to this depressing story is that Sanchez should not have even been in the U.S. because in 2001 he was convicted of robbery and deported. He crossed the border illegally and authorities had no idea of his whereabouts until he committed this heinous crime.

Just last month a previously deported Mexican man with a criminal record killed an entire family when he crashed his car into theirs on a Houston freeway. The illegal alien (Juan Felix Salinas) had been deported two years ago and was free on bond in a criminal case yet was allowed to remain in the country. He had a blood alcohol level three times the Texas legal limit when he murdered the family.

And they only come to get a better life...oh yeah, right.
We need to fully secure the border.
Deport the illegal aliens, but first add them to a DNA-data base as well as the fingerprint data-base. Then, if any try to come back in legally, deny them.
So much for their values. These incidents are not isolated but occur on a daily basis.
Less than 3.5 % of Americans are incarcerated for felonies.
Illegal aliens are incarcerated at much higher percentages.
It is a total travesty than any illegal alien could return after deportation to commit further crimes and one of the worst ways the government is failing to serve the people.

Is cotton stuffing safe for rats?

So, my dog just chewed up this toy, and there's all that cotton stuffing everywhere. Would this be safe for rat's cages? Would they use it to build a nest or bed? Could this be dangerous?

Also, are nests only made by rodents expecting to have babies? Or do they just make nests?

no they naturaly make nests constantly, and stuffing is fine but i recommend you use specialized stuffing as the one out of your dogs toy may have had chemicals added to it or bacteria, so just go to your local pet shop, bags tend to be around 80 pence to a pound.

good luck

Is a book of dreams in our house. If we open any of its 30 picture-and-text spreads, off we go into a world far removed from mini-vans and Blackberries and politicians spouting crazy talk. Instead, we're lolling on an exquisite bed, sipping a cocktail at the bar, primping in an unspeakably stylish bathroom. It's enough to make us feel immoral, just for looking -- how can you luxuriate in excess while they're starving and homeless in [fill in the blank]?

Do I feel guilty about enjoying myself -- even in dreams -- while others suffer? Don't ask. But I wouldn't file "Parisian Hideaways" under "hotel porn" so quickly. A book of dreams can also be a book of ideas.

It is the core belief of this site that there is absolutely no reason why we can't live more elegant lives, right here in the US of A. But as Wittgenstein pointed out, the limits of language are the limits of life. If you can't say it, you can't think it. Ditto for images. You can't sketch what you didn't see.

Your Baby Bedding » Blog Archive » Cotton Underpants Are Best To ...

Although you may have read all the child development books and gotten lots of advice from friends and family on how to potty train your girl, what you may not have even considered is what type of undergarment your child will wear while you toilet train her. Everyone seems to have their own potty training tips. Will you use cotton underwear, cloth training pants or pull-ups? Each of those options has their own pros and cons, so let’s discuss each one to help you determine the right choice for your little girl.

One downfall of disposable pants is that, to a child, they feel similar to a diaper. Your daughter may feel like she still has the security of a diaper when she wears them. Also, she may not feel the uncomfortable sensation wetness brings, which is necessary to encourage the use of the child potty seat. Unlike real underwear, pull-up disposable pants can sometimes cause children to have difficulty getting them down in time. You need to completely disconnect from diapers and introduce a change that she will respond to if you want to successfully potty train your child with relative ease.
