All Cotton Bed

I love getting into bed and feeling the duvet cover and sheets against my arms and legs... they're so lovely and cold! In the summer I spend all my time moving around looking for the cold patches to keep cool lol!! I know, I'm weird... :P

Yes, and I love the smell of sheets that have been hung outside to dry.Although I can't do that anymore.=(

I was using a bright pink pen last night to do a crossword puzzle and I fell asleep and the pen tip got the pink all over the place. Can anyone tell me a good way to get pen out of cotton bed linen?

use hair spray and bar soap.....Spray ink spots wet with hairspray then rub with a bar soap, then spray wet again and rub the soap on again = for the big spots. then wash in cold water with your detergent. It doesn't matter if you've washed it before the hairspray and bar soap will get ink out.

I bought Petco Cozy Nest bedding. Made of 100% cotton fibers. 4 out of 5 people said it was safe. When i put it in his cage he put it in his mouth and put it all over his cage. He hated it in his sleeping igloo. But then an hour later I went to his cage and he was sleeping on it like he loves it. I don't know if he forced himself to sleep on it because it is much more comfortable then prickly bedding.

Take it out immediately! Hamster fluff is really unsafe! They can get tangled, it gets caught in their cheeks, and it can strangle them!

Try using Carefresh and toilet paper instead.

I know it's not very cool, but I prefer cotton/polyester bed sheets to all cotton. Only problem--the blends all seem to be inexpensive sheets in boring solid colors or timid floral patterns. Do any of the high end linen manufacturers make sheets in cotton/poly?

I have been happy with Anna's Linens, I hope you have a store in your area, but they do have an on-line store. Stroud's should also have some cotton/poly blend sheet sets.

i have researched this and found some informaton here on yahoo answers. People say the higher the thread count the better but i noticed when it gets into the 1000TC-1200TC Egyptian Cotton they tend to have a sateen weave in them. And if you stay in the 600TC-800TC margin they DONT have the sateen weave... is a sateen weave comfortable after you wash it a few times maybe? what do you all prefer? i want the softest without being too slick feeling... any feedback would be great... thanks!

I like the 600 or 800 count the best. I have found that when you get any higher in TC the sheets come out of the dryer completely wrinkled up. I know that they are just sheets but I hate wrinkled sheets. You can definitely tell the difference when you have a high TC set of sheets. Worlds apart from the everyday 280-300 TC.
